Transplace Team Alicia
Transplace and Team Alicia have again joined together this year to support and raise awareness of Lung Cancer. Transplace has been a gracious supporter over the years and carrying on a tradition in Greensboro that started with the 2010 diagnosis of Alicia Pace Riddle. Alicia was a 40yr. old mother of 4, never-smoker, diagnosed with stage 3-A Lung Cancer. Alicia's battle not only raised awareness of the disease but is evidence that this disease can impact anyone. The continuation of Transplace to sponsor and support the NC Lung Cancer Initiative is a testament to their commitment to community and giving back.
On November 02, 2019, we invite you to join us in the Greensboro LUNGe Forward 5K Run, Walk & Rally benefiting the Lung Cancer Initiative of North Carolina.
Together we can make a difference and provide hope for those affected by lung cancer in North Carolina. Lung cancer takes more lives than breast, prostate and colon cancers COMBINED, but together we can change that!
We have joined the Lung Cancer Initiative network of hope and action, raising awareness and funds for their research, awareness, education and access programs across North Carolina. We are personally asking you to join our team to help make a difference by raising awareness and funds this worthy cause. We know it will be a lot of fun and are excited to see what we can accomplish together!
If you can't join us on November 02, 2019, you can still make a difference by donating online or registering to Lounge for Lung Cancer, where your navy, long-sleeved participant shirt will be mailed to you.
Thank you in advance for supporting us, our efforts to better this community and the Greensboro LUNGe Forward 5K Run, Walk, & Rally. If you have any questions about the Lung Cancer Initiative of North Carolina, please do not hesitate to email or visit www.LungCancerInitiativeNC.org for more information.
We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, November 02, 2019 at Center City Park, Greensboro!
